This recipe is a doodle and easy to prepare. We have done turkey recipes before, but this time around we are changing the method, the smoked grilled turkeys we have been preparing had brine in them, so today we are slightly changing and we are resorting to smoking a turkey on a pellet grill without brine.
At times people wonder why turkey takes a long time preparing unlike the other types of poultry meat, ooh yes allow me to let you know why it is like that. Turkey’s flesh is rough and hard compared to the other types of poultry.

I realized my relative grilled the turkey for a very short time (that was for only 1 hour). Why do I bring up this story? I want to let you know the longer the hours of cooking hours your turkey the more tender it becomes.
