For a long time, my best comfort food was ice cream until I decided to hunt for some easy healthy comfort food recipes.
Also, the process should involve easy healthy comfort food recipes. You don’t have to have a hard time preparing your comfort food.
Green Tea Soup With Dumplings
This beautiful soup takes less than 11Â minutes to prepare. you know what they say about dumplings, they are always a part of many comfort foods.Â

Ingredients for Green Tea Soup With Dumplings (healthy comfort food recipes)
4 cups of vegetable stock
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
2 shallots
100g fresh shiitake mushrooms
1 bunch broccolini
4 green tea teabags,Â
240g of frozen Wontons
½ cup of frozen edamame
2 teaspoons of soy sauce
Steps to follow for the healthy comfort food recipes
First, bring the stock to a boil in a big deep frying pan over high heat.
Then place the sesame seeds in a small frying pan over medium-low heat while the stock boils up. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring periodically, or until toasted. Slice the shallots very thinly. Large mushrooms should be thickly sliced. You should cut the broccolini in half.Â
With the 2 soup sachets from the wonton packet, add the teabags, wontons, edamame, and broccolini to the stock. Pour in 500ml (2 cups) of water. Cook for 6 minutes, or until wontons are fully cooked.
Lastly, remove the tea bags and add the soy sauce to the pan. To serve, ladle the soup into serving dishes and top with sesame seeds and shallots.
Chicken Noodle Soup
This creamy chicken soup is part of my favorite easy healthy comfort food recipes because it can all be cooked in one pot.Â

100g dried rice vermicelli noodles
2 teaspoons of olive oil
400g of chicken breast
Grated ginger
2 crushed garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of curry paste
400g of peeled sweet potato
6 cups of chicken stock
270ml of light coconut cream
1 tablespoon of light soy sauce
½ cabbage (shred the cabbage)
2 sliced shallots,Â
Coriander for garnishing
Steps to follow
Firstly, place the noodles in a heatproof bowl. Fill the pot with enough boiling water to cover it. Set aside for 6 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft. Drain.
Meanwhile, in a pan over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and cook for 6 minutes on each side or until fully done. To keep warm, transfer to a platter and cover with foil.
Then stir-fry the ginger and garlic in the wok for 1 minute, or until they are softened. Stir in the curry paste for 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Combine the sweet potato, stock, and coconut cream in a large mixing bowl. Bring to a boil, then lower to a low heat setting. To allow the flavors to emerge, simmer for 17 minutes. Add the soy sauce and mix well.
Lastly, slice the chicken while the soup is boiling. In serving dishes, divide the cabbage and noodles. If you enjoy a little spice in your cuisine, pour over the soup and top with sliced chicken, shallot, coriander, and chili.
