                      Delicious Stir Fry Tofu Recipe With Veggies

                      Delicious stir fry tofu recipe with veggies Tofu is always a healthy substitute for meat. The Chinese people have been eating tofu for hundreds of years. Tofu is made from soybeans so it’s perfect for vegans and vegetarians. It’s also great for those who are watching their diets. The beautiful thing about stir fry tofu is that it has no flavor or strong taste and it will take up any flavor that you give it. This means tofu will taste like anything you want it to taste like. You can even make your tofu taste like meat, fish, or chicken.

                      This Chinese recipe is going to be super easy to cook and we shall cook our tofu with veggies. This recipe contains all the protein, fiber, minerals, and nutrients that you need. 

                       

                      Stir fry tofu Ingredients

                      • 1 tablespoon of Sesame oil
                      • 1 tablespoon of Chopped garlic
                      • 2 Spring onion bulbs
                      • ½ Chopped Zucchini (yellow and green)
                      • 100 grams of firm Chopped tofu cubes
                      • ½ cup of chopped and steamed broccoli
                      • 1 ½ Tablespoon of soy sauce
                      • ½ Tablespoon of white vinegar
                      • ½ tablespoon of natural honey
                      • 1 ½ Red chili deseeded and chopped.
                      • Salt to taste
                      • Freshly ground black pepper
                      • ½ cup of chopped scallions
                      • 2 pinches of sesame seeds for garnishing. 

                       

                      Steps to follow the best stir fry tofu recipe.

                      Preheat a nonstick frying pan on medium heat, Next put a tablespoon of sesame oil on a non-stick frying pan. 

                      Add a tablespoon of chopped garlic to the oil and let it sizzle for 9 seconds and add two chopped spring onion bulbs.

                      Next, we will add a half-chopped zucchini. You can add both yellow and green zucchinis to add color and flavor. (Zucchini is low in calories and high in fiber)

                      Zucchini usually takes a longer time to cook compared to the other vegetables so you should always remember to put in the vegetables that take a longer time to cook first. 

                      Stir for about 60 seconds and let the vegetables become softer and add 100 grams of chopped tofu cubes into the frying pan. Make sure you’re using the firm tofu and not the silken tofu because it’ll be harder to use in this recipe, By the way, Tofu is a good source of iron, protein, and essential amino acids.

                      It is almost ready! Stir for about a minute and add half a cup of chopped and steamed broccoli into the frying pan and stir for about 1 minute.

                      The broccoli is already steamed so it won’t take long to cook, Meanwhile, we will put the lowest heat on your stove and let the tofu simmer as your prepare the sauce. 

                      The Sauce

                      Now it’s time to prepare the sauce, We will add at first 1 ½ tablespoons of soy sauce in a bowl. 

                      First, we will measure exactly ½ Tablespoon of distilled white vinegar into the bowl, and drizzle ½ tablespoon of natural bee honey into the bowl. Next, we will mix all these ingredients very well with a spoon, Now remove the seeds from  1½ Red chilies and chop them. Put the chopped red chili in the bowl. 

                      Secondly, we will mix the ingredients well with a spoon and add the sauce to the non-stick frying pan with the veggies and tofu. Easily Put back the stove to medium heat and stir the ingredients.

                      Add salt to the ingredients according to your preference, Grind some fresh black pepper into the frying pan and add 1 tablespoon of chopped scallions too.

                      Then you should stir for about 50 seconds and your Chinese recipe will be complete. You can always garnish your food with some chopped scallions and sesame seeds.

                      Perfect! Your stir fry tofu is now ready to be served! Best to serve this dish with white rice.

                      Conclusion

                      Lastly, when you are making this stir fry tofu recipe, it is important to use the extra-firm tofu. If you go to the grocery store you will find different kinds of tofu. Always look out for the extra-firm tofu.

                      Indeed it is impossible to go wrong with veggies on tofu.
