4 Soft burger buns split in half
4 slices of cheddar cheese
500g of ground beef
4 leaves of fresh iceberg lettuce
9 slices of tomatoes
8 slices of streaky bacon
1 ½ teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
For The Burger Sauce
6 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 ½ tablespoon of ketchup
1 tablespoon of dijon mustard
½ teaspoon black pepper

In a bowl, generously mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pepper. In the meantime, store the sauce aside.

Firstly, divide the minced beef into four, and generously shape the burger patties nicely. (make them slightly wider than the burger buns ). Generously season the beef patties with salt and black pepper. Place the patties on a small tray lined with a baking sheet and put them in the refrigerator to chill for at least 25 minutes
Secondly, preheat the grill pan over medium heat, add a teaspoon of olive oil then shallow fry the streaky bacon until it’s crispy and golden brown. Drain the fat in a container.
Thirdly, toast the buns, and put the buns on a clean plate.

Heat a clean pan with olive oil over medium-high heat and place the burger patties, grill for 5 minutes and flip over to the other side, and grill for 5 minutes too. Then top the burgers with cheddar cheese and melt for about 2 minutes, turn off the grill, and transfer the patties to a clean plate.
